Mindfulness Immersion with Nancy Straatmann Friday, June 15th 6-8 p.m.
Join us as we learn to increase mindfulness in everyday life. Mindful awareness helps us to release worry and fear, enjoy life's pleasures, enhance the immune system, and awaken our inner healer. Learn to reduce stress with meditations, breath work, and techniques to become fully present in the Now. Research shows that mindfulness helps improve mental and physical health, including anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, digestive issues, and sleep problems.

Nancy Straatmann is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She studied with Deepak Chopra and is certified to teach Meditation through the Chopra Center for Wellness. In addition, she is trained in Reiki and Reconnective healing.
108 Sun Salutations Thursday, June 21 6-7:30 p.m.
The number 108 breaks down to:
1 = God or a Higher Truth
0 = Emptiness or Completeness
8 = Infinity or Eternity
The act of practicing anything 108 times with focus and intention makes this ritual powerful. It is just long enough that the mind can begin to get bored or restless. The practice becomes a great metaphor for life and all the mundane tasks that we must repeat over and over. In the repetition, we learn how to continually come back to our intention. The physicality of doing 108 Sun Salutations teaches you how to work smarter rather than harder. Some of the sun salutations will feel easy, some will not. The journey is individual. But, if we travel together, breathe together, stay on the path together, we will make it to the other side. That’s how it is in life, and that’s how it will be when we partake together the ancient practice of 108 Sun Salutations to honor the great light!
Weather permitting, we will practice in the courtyard next to the studio.

Sunday Night by Candlelight Sunday, June 24th 6-7:30 p.m.
Join me for 90 minutes of gentle restorative postures designed to clear out stagnant winter energy, culminating in a guided Yoga Nidra(Yogic Sleep) meditation. In a Restorative class, the intention is to relax as far as possible into the postures, using as little physical effort as possible. The mind focuses on the breath in order to cultivate mindfulness and release tension from the body.
Props will be used to allow the body to be in the most comfortable, supported position possible. Essential oils will be incorporated into the practice to enhance your ability to align your body, mind and spirit, stimulate healing, and relax deeply.
No experience is necessary, but due to limited space, pre-registration is required. Tickets can be purchased on the website or at the studio. $20
