Connecting to your Soul Saturday, Nov. 10th 12-2:30 p.m.
In this fun and informative workshop, we will discuss the role of our Soul and this incredible journey we have taken.
We will discuss the entering of the Aquarian Age and what that means for us in everyday life.
We will go into Karma vs Dharma, Fate vs Destiny, and how the Soul moves throughout our many lifetimes.
We will do work on our Subtle Body in order to be able to more easily discern the messages coming from our Soul.
The workshop will include a Gong Bath to connect with our Soul as well as integrate the information. Sound Healing is a modality in which Vibration clears blocks in the Body and in the Subconscious. This special workshop will START and END with a Gong Bath.
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and a notebook to take notes if you'd like. Sat Nam.
Eyes Wide Shut - A blindfolded practice Sunday, Nov. 11 6-7:15 p.m.
Pratyahara~ Withdrawal of the senses
Join me for a Slow Flow class where we will move through our practice wearing a blindfold. Our eyesight is our most relied upon sense. Removing this sense provides a unique opportunity to observe, listen, and respond with heightened awareness to our other senses. This enhanced concentration brings much greater presence and mindfulness to your practice.
Please bring a blindfold of some sort (bandana, eye mask, ACE bandage) to class. If you become uncomfortable during practice, the blindfold can be removed. :)
TRE Workshop Thursday, Nov. 29th 6:30-8 p.m.
Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. I will guide you through the series of 7 simple exercises that help to initate the tremor response, allowing the body to release tension naturally. Once the exercises are learned, you have the ability to use this as a tool to manage stress for a lifetime!
Cost is $35 per person at the door. Follow-up session if needed is $25. Please note a minimum of 2 people is required to conduct the workshop & space is limited to 15.
Sunday Night by Candlelight with Yoga Nidra Sunday, Dec. 2nd 6-7:30 p.m.
Yoga Nidra systematically relaxes the whole body and mind. It rejuvenates and liberates energy deep within the tissues, and has the powerful potential to strengthen and expand consciousness. We will prepare for this practice with about an hour of restorative yoga postures, and then will settle in for our Yoga Nidra practice.
