Yoga Nidra systematically relaxes the whole body and mind. It rejuvenates and liberates energy deep within the tissues, and has the powerful potential to strengthen and expand consciousness. We will prepare for this practice with about an hour of restorative yoga postures, and then will settle in for our Yoga Nidra practice.

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. I will guide you through the series of 7 simple exercises that help to initiate the tremor response, allowing the body to release tension naturally. Once the exercises are learned, you have the ability to use this as a tool to manage stress for a lifetime!
